3 July 2013 Dragons’ Den star Peter Jones CBE hosted his annual shoot day last week, raising £140,000 for his charity the Peter Jones Foundation.
Guests at the event included fellow Dragons Theo Paphitis, Kelly Hoppen and Piers Linney, as well as the great and the good from the world of business, who battled it out to be crowned Top Gun.
The competition was held on Wednesday 3rd July at the Royal Berkshire Shooting School, and was followed by a live auction with fantastic prizes including fine dining at London’s top restaurants, luxury weekend breaks and the unique opportunity to have lunch with the Dragons.
Peter Jones CBE commented:
“I am thrilled that we have today raised such a significant amount for the Peter Jones Foundation. Through our initiatives, we can reach out to young peopleacross the country and inspire and enable them to realise their dreams. I’ve been hugely impressed with the talent at today’s shoot, and its great to see my fellow Dragons competing outside of the den!”
Peter Jones established the Peter Jones Foundation to help unleash the potential of aspiring entrepreneurs in the UK. The Foundation works to educate, encourage and inspire a brand new generation of entrepreneurs, through initiatives such as Tycoon in Schools and through the national network of Peter Jones Enterprise Academies.
