BootsThe Boots Dragons Den competition was a direct response to an internal employee survey in which employees had called out for more ways to add value and input into the business. After a large number ideas were submitted and a number of semi finals the seven winning teams are presenting on Friday afternoon to a panel of industry experts and internal Boots Senior Management:

  • Ramon Mehra – Transformation Director, Boots UK
  • Adrian Moorhouse MBE– Managing Director Lane4 Management Group, British former swimmer & gold medalist
  • Karren Brady – British sporting executive and broadcaster, Youngest Managing Director of a UK plc,
  • Sir Alan Sugars new confidant in the sixth series of The Apprentice
  • Peter Jones CBE - Entrepreneur, Businessman, TV Presenter & Investor

250 lucky staff can buy tickets to the ‘show’ with proceeds from the ticket sales going to Boots supported charity Macmillan Cancer Support.

The seven teams will be presenting their ideas directly to the Dragons and as with the TV Show the Dragons will be grilling each team! There will be a brief time at the end of all of the pitches where the Dragons' will consult on which ideas they believe should win at the final, and the winners will then be announced at the end of the event.
