My search for a Tycoon intensifies

The search for the UK's next Tycoon is well and truly under way.

We've had tens of thousands of people visit the ITV Tycoon website, which is amazing.

Applications are pouring in by the sack load each day.

And I've been out on the road in search of outstanding entrepreneurial talent.

While I have already received many strong pitches, I know there are many more fantastic ideas out there waiting to come alive - ideas from all quarters, from all age groups and all backgrounds - particularly from individuals who perhaps haven't had the confidence to come forward yet.

So I'm on a mission to hunt down even more budding entrepreneurs with outstanding ideas.

Perhaps that's you - and if it is, please visit the ITV Tycoon website.

As part of the my search, I'm raising awareness via events up and down the country and through TV, radio and newspapers.

Among my recent personal highlights, I appeared on the ITV show, Frost Tonight. It was a privilege to meet Sir David for the first time, who has been someone I have admired greatly for many, many years.

I also appeared on BBC London's breakfast show when I encouraged listeners to ring in with their business ideas. The production team later told me I managed to crash the phones lines with the sheer volume of call. Most encouraging!

Over the coming days and weeks, keep an eye out for me on other major TV and radio shows, newspapers and magazines. I'll also let you know of events via this website.
