GolfThe inaugural Enterprise Golf Challenge, in aid of the Peter Jones Foundation, will take place next Thursday 6th May 2010 at Hampton Court Palace Golf Club. The Foundation, established in 2005, gives help and support to children and young people who sometimes slip through the established network of support in the U.K. Our mission is to make their lives better and give them the chance to have a brighter future. Throughout the year, we will be running a number of Enterprise Challenge Events, including next week’s Golf Challenge and the upcoming Enterprise Shoot Challenge on Wednesday 7th July at The Royal Berkshire Shooting School, as well as sailing and tennis events later in the year.

The Hampton Court Palace Golf Club is the only course set in a Royal Park. This historic 6514-yard par 71 course offers a blend of parkland and links. A little less than ¼ mile from Kingston Upon Thames and running alongside the Thames, the course has over 300 roaming deer adding to the golf experience.

There will be 20 teams of four competing on the day over an 18 hole Stableford team event. The winning team will be presented with trophies and the individual with the best overall score will receive a tailor-made Green Augusta Style Jacket created especially by A Suit That Fits, as well as the coveted Crystal Enterprise Challenge Cup. The event is sponsored by Grant Thornton and and there are some other fantastic prizes to be won on the day.
